Aaron Mooy, born 15 September 1990, a bloke from Australia, positioned as a Centre Midfielder, measures 5ft 8in tall and weighs 11st 4lb. Mooy had quite the journey from Down Under, finding himself on Scottish turf in St Mirren by 2010.
In the season of 2010-2011, Mooy survived 13 first-team appearances. The successive year his performance dipped to eight appearances, although he managed to net one, solitary goal.
By July 2012, Mooy escaped Scotland for the likes of Western Sydney Wanderers. A modest one-goal contribution from his 22 club appearances in the 2012-2013 season was soon overshadowed by three goals in 23 appearances the next year.
Shifting to Melbourne City in 2014, Mooy proved to be a revelation in the succeeding seasons. He slam dunked seven goals in the space of 25 appearances by the 2014-2015 season. Come 2015-2016, he was hitting his straps, bagging 11 goals in 24 games.
2016 saw Mooy jettisoned to Huddersfield Town in England. Through the course of 45 appearances in the 2016-2017 season, Mooy netted just four goals. In the three succeeding years, his performances ranged from passable to poor, though he managed to nick 11 goals amidst fluctuating appearances.
The turn of 2020 observed a swap to Brighton & Hove Albion on loan, with a confirmation purchase of £5.4m in January. His stint in Brighton was mostly forgettable, contributing only two goals over 31 appearances.
By August 2020, Mooy found himself at Shanghai Port. In China, he saw his form improve mildly, scoring six goals across 23 appearances in two seasons.
Come July 2022, he'd landed in Celtic in Scotland. His debut season in Celtic saw him contribute four goals amidst 29 appearances. Not bad for a journeyman, eh?
