Calum Waters, the 28-year-old Scottish defender, was born on the 10th of March in 1996 and currently plays as left back for Alloa Athletic in Scotland. With a height of 5ft 8in (1.73m) and tipping the scales at 12st 3lb (78kg), he has carved out a career in the Scottish leagues, building a reputation for his strength and tenacity.
Waters embarked on his professional journey with Celtic in the Scottish Premiership in July 2013. There, he spent two seasons being a custodian of the club's celebrated legacy. His time at Celtic was fundamental in honing his skills and understanding the game, although he wasn't an established first-team regular.
In July 2015, he sought a fresh challenge with a loan move to Dumbarton in the League One. This opportunity gave Waters a platform to shine, and he made 16 first-team appearances in his debut season.
His move became permanent in July 2016, where he secured his place in Alloa Athletic's first team, making 36 appearances and scoring one goal. In the ongoing 2024-2025 season, he has featured in six league matches so far.
Waters saw a brief spell with Kilmarnock in the Premiership, between July 2017 and August 2019. He made sporadic appearances for the club over different seasons, and his performance was steady.
He joined Sligo Rovers in the Republic of Ireland Premier Division on loan in February 2018, returning to Scotland at the end of the loan, although he was sent out on loan again to St Mirren in August 2019. At St Mirren, he played a vital part, featuring in 27 league matches.
On his return to Kilmarnock, he once again had limited opportunities but still managed to play in a handful of matches. Another loan move took him to Greenock Morton in the Championship in February 2023, where he managed a bit more game time, scoring once in 14 appearances. The following season, he represented the team 24 times.
Finally, he moved again to Alloa Athletic in July 2024, where he had previously enjoyed a successful stint. Currently, he is part of their challenge for League One in the 2024-2025 season.
His illustrious career also saw him participate in the League Cup 2024 - 2025 for Alloa Athletic, with four starts, and the Challenge Cup 2024 - 2025, where he had one start.
