Filip Twardzik, born on the 10th of February 1993 in the Czech Republic, is a defender who primarily plays as a left back for Spartak Trnava. His height and weight are recorded as 1.86m (6ft 1in) and 76kg (11st 13lb) respectively.
In July 2009, Twardzik initiated his career with Celtic in the Scottish Premiership by joining as a trainee. His first season, 2011-2012, with Celtic culminated in a single first-team appearance in league matches. Similary, in the following season, 2012-2013, Twardzik was selected for first team appearances in two matches. In the subsequent two seasons; 2013-2014 and 2014-2015, he made one first-team appearance each. These were times of novelty and exuberance for Twardzik, under the floodlights of Celtic Park, a career in football was well underway for the young left back.
February 2015 heralded a change, as Twardzik transposed from the Celtic to Bolton Wanderers in the English League One for an undisclosed fee. This two-season stint at Bolton Wanderers saw Twardzik make a total of five first team appearances in league matches, with one goal to his credit in the 2014-2015 season.
June 2016 marked another transition in Twardzik's career, where he transferred clubs again. This time to an unnamed club in an unspecified league. His journey then took him to MFK Ružomberok in Slovakia's First Football League, before moving on to Karvina in the Czech Republic's First League in August 2020, the fee for this transfer remains undisclosed. The 2020-2021 season saw Twardzik clock 11 first team appearances for Karvina.
The ever dynamic Twardzik, opted for another transfer, this time to Spartak Trnava in Slovakia's First Football League, in January 2021. For the seasons of 2020-2021 through to 2024-2025, he made in total, 43 appearances for Spartan Trnava and scored four goals. Furthermore, in the conference League Qualifiers 2024-2025, he started twice for Spartan Trnava.
In January 2022, he took a bold stride and transferred to LASK Linz in Austria's Bundesliga for an undisclosed fee, where he made five first team appearances in the 2021-2022 season. Then in January 2023, Twardzik was loaned out to his former club Spartak Trnava, a move that eventually became permanent in July 2024.
The ever wandering Czech left back finds himself back at Spartak Trnava, who knows where the beautiful game will take him next.
