Joe Ledley, the Welsh midfielder, born 23rd January 1987, stands at 5ft 11in and takes the scales for a spin at 11st 6lb. The lad's seen his shenanigans on a number of pitches across Britain and spent his final season with the Newcastle United Jets in the land down under, albeit making a mere six appearances with the first team.
Prior to his Australian excursion, Ledley lent his boots to Charlton Athletic. Though, for the 2019 - 2020 season, the lad only hit the pitch for the first team once. Bitter, that.
Before the stint with Charlton Athletic, he was at Derby County in England. Here, during the 2018 - 2019 season, he made four first team appearances and found himself in front of the net on one occasion. His performance the previous season saw equally dismal statistics, with just one goal from 26 first team appearances.
Before Derby County, Ledley ran with Crystal Palace. His stint there, between the 2013 - 2014 and the 2016 - 2017 seasons, saw him make 83 first team appearances, managing six goals. Hardly a prolific number, but he soldiered on.
Previous to his romp with Crystal Palace, he spent some time here, at Celtic in Scotland. From the 2010 - 2011 season to the 2013 - 2014 season, he made 106 first team appearances, scoring 20 goals. Not a terrible innings for our lad then.
Before he donned the Celtic greens, Ledley was with Cardiff City. Between his debut season in 2004 - 2005 till 2009 - 2010, he made 225 first team appearances and accumulated 26 goals, his best season being the 2007-2008 one where he knocked in 10. Solid performance there, lad.
