Nicolas Kuhn, a talented right winger of Celtic Football Club, was born on the 1st of January, 2000 in Germany. Now at the age of 25, he stands at 5ft 9in (1.76m) and has a weight of 10st 12lb (69kg). Adorning the number 10 jersey, Kuhn has made an impression at Celtic during his tenure.
According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is pegged at around £10m. The contract for this skilled forward runs until 30th June 2029, just a bit over four years from now.
Kuhn started his professional journey with RB Leipzig II in Germany in July 2015. However, it was in January 2018 that he stepped onto an international platform by transferring to Jong Ajax in the Dutch Eerste Divisie for a fee of around £1.8m. Here, Kuhn showed consistency on the field, making numerous first team appearances and scored an impressive bag of goals within three seasons.
Bayern München II in Germany came calling in January 2020 for an undisclosed fee and Kuhn continued his steady rise, appearing fairly regularly and contributing to the team's goal tally. A strategic move in July 2021 saw him loaned out to Erzgebirge Aue in Germany's 3. Liga where he continued to get solid playing time and further increase his goal account.
July 2022 was an important marker in Kuhn's career as he transferred from Bayern München II to Rapid Vienna in Austria's Bundesliga for a transfer fee of almost half a million (£450k). Two seasons with Rapid Vienna saw him participate in a string of league matches and score a good number of goals.
The significant turning point, however, was in January 2024. Kuhn transferred to Celtic in Scotland for a fee of £3m and quickly proved his worth. In his first season, he made a significant contribution with 14 first team appearances and scored two goals in league matches. In the current season, his form has escalated remarkably - 27 first team appearances and ten goals are creditable numbers to boast.
His performance for Celtic includes sparkling appearances in the League Cup, Scottish Cup, and Champions League, in all of which he scored multiple goals. Given his track record, as Celtic continues to compete in these tournaments, it is reasonable to expect further exploits from Kuhn.
