Patryk Klimala, born on 5 August 1998 in Poland, is a forward known for playing as a striker for Sydney FC. With a commanding presence, he stands at 6ft (1.83m) tall and weighs in at 11st 13lb (76kg). Klimala's presence on the field is further underscored by the number 9 jersey he wears.
At the ripe age of 18, in July 2016, Klimala embarked on his professional football journey. His first stint was with Jagiellonia Bialystok in the Ekstraklasa in Poland. During his 2018 - 2019 season at Jagiellonia Bialystok, Klimala hit the field 22 times and scored one goal. Undeterred by the less than stellar start, he amped up his performance in the 2019 - 2020 season, scoring seven goals in his 17 appearances.
A brief loan in July 2017 led Klimala to Wigry Suwalki in the III Liga in Poland, providing him with the opportunity to hone his skills further. He returned from his loan to Jagiellonia Bialystok in 2018, where he once again demonstrated consistent performance across two seasons.

During his 2019 - 2020 season at Celtic, Klimala made a rather modest two appearances in league matches. However, he found his footing in the 2020 - 2021 season, hitting the field 17 times and netting three goals.
Klimala's wanderlust led him to another transfer in April 2021, this time from Celtic to the New York Red Bulls in the MLS, USA.
