Born on 22 February 1995 in Scotland, Ryan Christie is a staple figure in the world of Scottish football. A central attacking midfielder by trade, Christie has established himself well up the ranks to now play for Bournemouth in England, donning the number 10 jersey. Standing at 5ft 10in (1.78m) and weighing 11st 2lb (71kg), he has also presented his abilities on an international level with the Scotland national team.
Christie's professional career kicked off in July 2011 when he joined Inverness CT in Scotland's League One. He made a promising start with three goals from 15 appearances in his debut season in 2013-14, maintaining a steady performance with seven goals in the following two seasons.
In September 2015, Christie moved to Celtic for a fee around £500k. His time at Celtic was interspersed with loan spells, first returning to Inverness CT and later Aberdeen, but his contribution to the Bhoys cannot be understated. Throughout various seasons, Christie made a notable mark with a total of 27 league goals from 95 appearances.

In August 2021, he switched sports loyalties, moving from Celtic to Bournemouth in the English Premier League for an undisclosed fee. As of the 2024-2025 season, he remains a key player for Bournemouth, having made seven first team appearances.
Outside the league, Christie's participation has seen him contribute to competitions like the FA Cup, the League Cup and the Euro Qualifiers for Scotland, scoring one goal in four starts in the Nations League 2024-2025.
