Shane Duffy, born on the 1st of January 1992 in Northern Ireland, is a professional footballer who serves as a prominent defender for Norwich City. With a towering height of 6ft 3in (1.93m) and a weight of 11st 13lb (76kg), Duffy is a distinctive presence on the field. He can generally be observed wearing the number 4 jersey.
Launching his career in November 2007, Duffy joined Everton, where he made five first-team appearances in league matches over the course of two seasons. The move to Celtic brought an end to the 2020-2021 season for Duffy, after which he returned to Brighton & Hove Albion.
Having returned to Brighton & Hove Albion, Duffy was transferred to Fulham on loan in August 2022 before making the transfer permanent in January 2023 for an undisclosed fee. At Fulham, he made five first team appearances, and by July 2023, he had moved onto Norwich City. He made 36 first team appearances and scored one goal in the 2023-2024 season at Norwich City, and in the ongoing season, he has played in 21 matches and scored twice. Duffy also had an appearance in the League Cup 2024-2025 for Norwich City and began two matches in the Championship Play-off 2023-2024.
