Stefan Šćepović was born in Serbia on 10 January 1990. The 34-year old stands at 6ft 1in (1.87m) and tips the scales at 12st 6lb (79kg). The Serbian has carved out a career for himself as a forward, primarily acting as a striker for Muangthong United.
In January 2010, Šćepović's career saw him move from OFK Beograd in the SuperLiga in Serbia, to Sampdoria in the Serie B in Italy on loan. That season, he made two first team appearances in league matches. Following this, in July 2010, he transferred from OFK Beograd to Club Brugge in the Pro League in Belgium, making four first team appearances that season.
After a brief stint on loan at Kortrijk in Belgium, where he made five appearances and one goal, his career took him to Israel with Hapoel Acre in the Liga Leumit. There, over the course of the season, Šćepović made 31 appearances and scored 13 goals. From Israel, he moved back home to Partizan in the Serbian SuperLiga where he was a consistent squad player, making 14 appearances and scoring eight goals.
In July 2013, Šćepović transferred from Partizan to Sporting Gijon in the Segunda División in Spain for a fee of around £900k. He excelled at Sporting Gijon, making 39 appearances and scoring 23 goals in his first season. However, his second stint with the club in the season 2017 - 2018 saw a decline in his scoring with only four goals in 15 appearances.
September 2014 heralded a significant move in his career as Šćepović transferred from Sporting Gijon to Celtic in the Premiership in Scotland for a fee of around £2.3m. Šćepović's tenure at Celtic was a mixed bag. His first season, 2014 - 2015, saw him make 18 first team appearances and score four goals in league matches. However, his following season saw him only making one first team appearance.
Šćepović found himself moving a fair bit in the following years. He had two successful seasons with Getafe in Spain, netting six and three goals respectively each season. However, his return loan to Sporting Gijon yielded a diminished success with four goals in 15 appearances. He then transferred from Getafe to Fehervar in Hungary where over one and a half seasons, he made 14 appearances and scored seven goals.
After some less successful moves to Jagiellonia Bialystok in Poland and Machida Zelvia in the J1 League in Japan, he moved to Malaga in Spain. Here he made 13 appearances and scored three goals before moving on to AEL Limassol in Cyprus. Subsequent career moves took him to Brisbane Roar in Australia, where he scored one goal in ten appearances, before ultimately landing at his current club, Muangthong United in the Thai League 1 in Thailand for the 2024 - 2025 season.
