Japanese-born Tomoki Iwata, born 7 April 1997, is a seasoned midfielder renowned for his central defensive prowess. Currently plying his trade with England's Birmingham City, Iwata stands 5ft 10in (1.78m) tall and weighs 12st 1lb (77kg). He sports the number 24 jersey.

In August 2024, Birmingham City in England secured Iwata's talents with a transfer fee of around £830k. He's since made five first team appearances and scored two goals in the current 2024 - 2025 season. Iwata also featured in the EFL Trophy 2024 - 2025 for Birmingham City, where he scored a goal over two starts.
