Yōsuke Ideguchi is a seasoned midfielder who was born on 23 August 1996 in Japan. Currently aged 28, he primarily plays as a central midfielder for Vissel Kobe, donning the number 7 jersey. Standing at 5ft 7in (1.71m) and weighing in at 10st 12lb (69kg), Ideguchi commenced his professional football career at Gamba Osaka in the J1 League, Japan.
He joined Gamba Osaka in January 2015, initiating his debut season with eight first-team appearances in league matches. Over the next handful of seasons leading to 2021, the Japanese midfielder often graced the pitch, marking regular appearances and providing crucial goals for the team. During his time at Gamba Osaka, Ideguchi demonstrated significant progression, scoring numerous goals and playing a predominant role in the team's midfield.

Following the move north, he made just three first-team appearances in league matches. A year later, he was once again on loan, this time at Avispa Fukuoka in Japan, making 21 appearances. His Celtic stint, albeit short, saw him deliver a committed performance whenever given the chance.
In January 2024, Ideguchi made his final shift, transferring from Celtic to Vissel Kobe in the J1 League, Japan, for a fee around £860,000. In the current 2024 season at Vissel Kobe, Ideguchi has made 23 appearances in league matches. He also participated in the Super Cup 2024 for Vissel Kobe with one appearance as a substitute, and AFC Champions League Elite 2024 - 2025 for Vissel Kobe with two starts.
