Alessandro Cortinovis, born in Italy on 25 January 2001, is a 23-year-old footballer who is primarily utilised in the central attacking midfield by his club, Atalanta. Standing at 5ft 10in (1.8m) tall and weighing 11st 9lb (74kg), he moulds a formidable presence on the field. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be around £340k, with his contract at Atalanta scheduled to end on 30 June 2026.
Cortinovis began his professional football journey with Atalanta in Italy's Serie A, joining them as a trainee in July 2016. However, in the ongoing 2024 - 2025 season, he hasn't managed to make a first-team appearance.
In a bid for more playing time, in August 2021, Cortinovis made a move on loan to Reggina in Italy's Serie C from Atalanta. The 2021 - 2022 season proved fruitful for the midfielder as he managed to play 30 first-team league matches, even finding the back of the net once.
The following season in July 2022, he transferred, once again on loan, to Hellas Verona in Italy's Serie A. This time, Cortinovis could only make a solitary first-team appearance.
Further adding to his loan stints, Cortinovis moved to Cosenza in the Serie B, again from Atalanta, in January 2023. During the 2022 - 2023 season at Cosenza, he managed to make an appearance 12 times for the first team in league matches. Upon completing his loan term, Cortinovis returned to his parent club Atalanta in Serie A in June 2023. Despite these multiple moves, his current 2024 - 2025 season with Atalanta has, so far, not seen him making any first-team appearances.
