Ben Godfrey, born 15 January 1998 (age 26) in England, cuts a stable figure within Atalanta's back-line, plying his trade as a central defender. Godfrey's journey began with York City in the English National League, where he joined in July 2010 as a trainee. During the duration of his 2015-16 debut season at York City, he marked his name on the team sheet twelve times in league matches, managing to find the net once.
