His time back in the Championship with Sunderland was brief, as in September of the same year, he found a new temporary home in Southend United, another English National League team. However, by November, he was back in the red-and-white stripes of Sunderland.
March 2022 saw a significant leap for Kimpioka, as he moved from Sunderland to AIK in Sweden's top-tier league, the Allsvenskan, for an undisclosed fee. His debut season in 2022 witnessed 16 appearances on the pitch with a solitary league goal to his name.
In the following winter, January 2023, he was temporarily whisked away to Luzern in the Swiss Super League. As summer dawned in July, he found himself back at AIK, where he repeated his performance of 16 appearances and one goal from the previous season.
After another winter, January 2024 brought forth a new adventure for Kimpioka. He transferred to St Johnstone, a Scottish Premiership club, for an undisclosed fee. He seemed to find his groove in Scotland as he made 17 appearances and netted thrice in league matches during the 2023 - 2024 season.
