Caoimhin Kelleher, born in the Republic of Ireland on 23rd November 1998, found his football destiny intertwined with Liverpool Football Club. Now 25 years of age, Kelleher is an impressive 6ft 2in (1.88m) in height and weighs in at 12st 10lb (81kg). Goalkeeping seems to have been a natural fit for him, and he proudly wears the number 62 jersey for his club. His nationality also afforded him the privilege of representing the Republic of Ireland in the international arena.
Although yet to feature prominently in Liverpool's first team, his debut season of 2020-2021 saw him given two appearances, a figure that held the same for the following season. The 2022-2023 season witnessed Kelleher stepping onto the pitch only once for the first team, but the 2023-2024 season represented a relative flurry of activity with ten appearances. So far in the current 2024-2025 season, Kelleher has again only made a solitary first team outing.
It's worth noting that significant parts of Kelleher's career have taken place in various cup competitions. For example, in the FA Cup season of 2023-2024, he made two starts. The following season, he made his debut start in the League Cup. He also had eight starts in the 2023-2024 Europa League while playing for Liverpool, and he was trusted with four starts for the Republic of Ireland in the 2024-2025 Nations League.
