Christos Tzolis, a Greek forward and national team member, was born on 30 January 2002. Standing at 5ft 10in (1.79m) and weighing in at 11st 6lb (73kg), Tzolis currently plays for Club Brugge as a left winger, where he dons the number 8 jersey. His current market value is roughly £10.5m, based on exchange rates, according to Transfermarkt. Tzolis' existing contract with Club Brugge runs until 30 June 2028.
Tzolis' career began in earnest in July 2018, when he joined PAOK in the Super League in his native Greece as a trainee. His 2019-20 debut season saw him making nine first team appearances and scoring one goal and his performance in the following season, where he appeared 33 times and scored six goals, evidently caught the attention of scouts.
In August 2021, Tzolis transferred from Greece to England, joining Norwich City in the Championship for a sum of around £8.8m. Across two seasons at Norwich City, he made 27 first team appearances and scored once.
A brief stint at FC Twente in the Eredivisie in the Netherlands followed in July 2022, as Tzolis left England to play on loan. Here, he made ten first team appearances and scored once. By January 2023, Tzolis returned to Norwich on completion of his loan, only to transfer again later that year in August 2023 - this time, on loan to Fortuna Dusseldorf in Germany's 2. Bundesliga.
This proved a significant move for Tzolis, who made 30 first team appearances and netted an impressive 22 goals in the 2023-24 season. His performance led to a more permanent arrangement, with Norwich City transferring him to Fortuna Dusseldorf for a sum of around £3m in July 2024.
Shortly after this, Tzolis transferred once again, this time from Fortuna Dusseldorf to Club Brugge in Belgium for roughly £5.5m. During the current 2024-25 season, he has contributed six goals in 15 appearances for the Belgian side.
Beyond his club performance, Tzolis has been a strong representative for his national team in Greece, especially in the Nations League 2024-25 season, where he scored two goals in five starts. In addition, he has contributed to Club Brugge's success in the Super Cup and the Champions League during the same season, scoring once in each competition.
