Born on 21 July 2000, Daniel Church, a Scottish defender primarily operating as a left back currently plying his trade with Queen of the South, stands at a respectable 5ft 10in (approximately 1.78m) and tips the scales at 11st 6lb (roughly 73kg).
As a fresh-faced 17-year-old, Church started his career as a trainee at Celtic, linking up with the Glasgow Premiership side in July 2017. Here, he would prove his potential and work towards earning a reputation within the Celtic youth development system.
However, despite the promising start at Celtic, Church made a temporary departure in August 2019. He moved on loan to East Fife, a decision likely born out of an intention to sample new experiences and increase his exposure to first-team football within Scotland's League Two.
By November 2020, Church departed Celtic permanently with his next stop being Dumbarton in League One of Scottish football. This marked a new chapter in his journey - one that would see him absent from the hustle and bustle of the Premiership to hone his skills further.
After a stint with Dumbarton, Church moved on to Alloa Athletic, a fellow League One entity, in July 2021. During his debut season in 2022 - 2023, Church made significant inroads by racking up 24 first team appearances and recording two goals in league matches.
Church's growth as a player soon caught the eye of Queen of the South, a League One team who secured his talents in July 2023. However, despite the fresh start for the 2024 - 2025 season, Church is yet to make a first-team appearance for his new club.
Whilst his journey has been adorned with several stops thus far, it's evident that Church's journey through the various echelons of Scottish football continues apace.
