Daniel Peretz, born on 10 July 2000 currently aged 24, is an individual born and bred in Israel. His professional career has been centred around the goalkeeping position, a critical role at current club Bayern Munich. Standing 6ft 2in tall (or 1.9m for our European readers), and weighty at 13st 12lb (equivalent to 88kg), it's easy to see why he would be favoured to guard the net. Not to be forgotten is the number 18, adorned on his match-day jersey. Not only has Peretz made strides at a club level, but he also holds caps for his homeland, having stepped on the pitch for Israel's U21 team.
Not too long ago, in July 2018, Peretz's journey took him to Maccabi Tel Aviv, a team in Israel's Premier League. Five years down that path, in August 2023, another door opened for Peretz - a move to the Bundesliga in Germany with the esteemed Bayern Munich. The transfer fee, according to Transfermarkt, was said to reach around the £4.3m mark. The debut season (2023 - 2024) following the shift was fairly quiet for Peretz, with only a single first team appearance in league matches. As for the current season, 2024 - 2025, being first on the sheet has thus far eluded him.
Beyond the domestic plane, Peretz's career includes participation in the UEFA U21 Qualifiers 2023, aligning once again with Israel U21. He confidently earned his place on the field in no less than four starting roles during the tournament.
