Born on the 29th of May, 1986, Danny Fox, an English footballer now 38 years old, primarily plays as a central defender for East Bengal. Fox stands at 5ft 11in (1.82m) and weighs 12st 3lb (78kg).
Fox began his football career at Everton as a trainee in May 2004. By January 2005, he found himself transferred on loan from the Premier League club to League Two team Stranraer in Scotland. During his debut 2004-2005 season at Stranraer, Fox made 11 first team appearances and managed to net a single goal in league matches.
By July 2005, Fox's career path took him from Everton in England's Premier League, to Walsall in League Two. His stint at Walsall, from 2005 until January 2008, was marked by a commendable number of appearances and a respectable goal tally. He played 99 league matches, pocketing six goals in the process.
January 2008 found Fox transferring to Coventry City in England's Championship league for an undisclosed fee. Over a period of two seasons, 2007-2008 and 2008-2009, Fox made a total of 57 appearances in league matches and scored six goals.
In July 2009, Fox moved from Coventry City to Celtic in the Scottish Premiership for a transfer fee that was around £1.5m. It was during his time at Celtic that Fox's performances can be said to have hit a stumbling block, as his time at the Glasgow-based club was characterised by a limited number of appearances. Despite having started off on a promising note, Fox was only able to make 15 first team appearances for Celtic during the 2009-2010 season.
In January of 2010, he was transferred from Celtic to Burnley in England's Championship for a similar fee of around £1.5m. The seasons that followed, from 2009-2010 through to 2011-2012, saw Fox make a total of 50 first team appearances in the Championship, where he scored one goal.
August 2011 marked Fox's transition from Burnley to Southampton in the Premier League, for a slightly larger transfer fee of around £1.8m. Fox's time at Southampton in England varied across seasons. Although he made a significant 41 first team appearances in the 2011-2012 season, his opportunities dwindled drastically in the following seasons, culminating in just three first team appearances in the Premier League during the 2013-2014 season.
From Southampton, Fox moved to Nottingham Forest in the Premier League, first on loan in January 2014, and then on a full transfer in July of the same year. His performance at Nottingham Forest can be described as consistent, making at least ten appearances every season between 2013-2014 and 2018-2019.
In January 2019, Fox transferred from Nottingham Forest in the Premier League to Wigan Athletic in League One for a fee of roughly £300k. His time at Wigan Athletic, spanning across 2018-2020, was characterised by a relatively low number of appearances.
Most recently, in October 2020, Fox was transferred from Wigan Athletic in League One in England to East Bengal in the I-League in India. His season so far at East Bengal in India, as of 2019-2020, has not seen him make any first team appearances in league matches.
