Dario Spikic, a football forward thoroughly fond of the right wing, was born in Croatia on the 22nd of March, 1999, which sets the player at a not-so-tender age of 25. Standing at a respectable 6 foot(equivalent to 1.83 metres), Špikić is a robust presence on the field, weighing in at 12 stone 6 pounds, or for those preferring metric, 79 kilogrammes.
At the moment, Dario is plying his trade for Dinamo Zagreb, with the Transfermarkt pegging his current market value at about £1.5m. His contract with the Croatian giants is slated to run its course on the 30th of June, 2027 - a solid two years and seven months from the present day.
Mind you, Špikić hasn’t always been weaving his magic at Dinamo Zagreb. In July 2018, the player made a swift transfer from Dinamo Zagreb to Hajduk Split, of course in the Croatian HNL. Barely a year and a half later, in January 2020, he was off again: this time, packing his bags for a stint with Gorica in the same league. The moving truck made its final stop in July 2021, when Špikić returned to his old stomping grounds at Dinamo Zagreb for a fee so secret, few dared speak of it.
Playing under the Dinamo Zagreb banner has proven quite fruitful for Špikić. In his debut season (2022-2023), he managed to squeeze in 34 first team appearances, even bagging seven goals. The following season saw somewhat fewer appearances - 28 to be precise - but a pleasant total of four goals. The current season (2024-2025) finds Špikić 11 games deep, with a solitary goal to his name so far.
Let’s not forget, Špikić has demonstrated his skills on grander stages as well. He had a brief spell in the Champions League Qualifiers 2024-2025, popping up as a substitute for Dinamo Zagreb. He also featured in the Conference League 2023-2024 - four starts with three substitute appearances. The player returned to the Champions League the following year, impressing with a goal in two starts and two substitute appearances.
