Didier Agathe, a sturdy French defender, was born on the 16th of August in 1975. Measuring in at 5ft 11in (1.81m) and weighing 11st 13lb (76kg), he was an imposing figure on the pitch.
Agathe's professional football story started in July 1992 when he joined Montpellier as a trainee playing in France's Ligue 1. His debut season of 1998-1999 saw him making a humble two first-team appearances.
In the following season, Agathe made the crossing of the Channel to Scotland. He played for Raith Rovers in the Championship making 30 appearances and scoring seven goals.
By 2000, destiny beckoned and Agathe was on the move again, transferring to Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership. In five first team appearances, he impressively scored four times.

Once leaving Celtic Park, Agathe switched teams once more, this time to English Premier League side, Aston Villa. His stint was brief, playing only five first-team games in the 2006-2007 season.
