From Celticfc.net: Kouassi Eboue moved to Celtic in January 2017 from Russian side, FC Krasnodar, having spent two-and-a-half years there since joining them in the summer of 2014.
He began his football career in Ivory Coast before signing for Armenian club, Shirak, in early 2014. The talented 19-year-old midfielder established himself in the Krasnodar first-team in the first half of the 2016/17 season, helping the Russian side reach the last 32 of the UEFA Europa League.
The Ivory Coast player, who has trained with his national side and who is hoping his move to Celtic will lead to his first international cap for his country, joined up with his fellow countryman, Kolo Toure, at Celtic.
And speaking after his move to Celtic was completed, Kouassi Eboue said: ‘I’m very happy to sign for Celtic because Celtic is a big, historic club. I had many options but I chose to come to Celtic because they have a good ambition and project here.
‘I want to move forward and progress and I think Celtic is a good club for me to do that. Celtic also have a good coach in Brendan Rodgers so he can help me to develop.’
