Erdis Kraja, born on the 7th of July 2000 in Italy, is a 24-year-old central midfielder currently plying his trade for Atalanta. Standing at an impressive 5ft 11inches (1.81m) tall and tipping the scales at 12st 3lb (78kg), he has the classic physique of a central midfielder.
His current market value is suitably modest, sitting around £200k according to Transfermarkt. Kraja's contract with Atalanta is winding down, with a mere 9 months remaining. If no renegotiation is made, his time at Atalanta will come to a close on the 30th of June, 2025.
In July of 2021, amid much less pomp and circumstance than one might expect, Kraja joined Atalanta in Italy's Serie A. His star, however, did not immediately rise, and in the 2024 - 2025 season, he remained benched for every first team league match.
In a bid to garner more experience, Kraja transferred to Pescara in Serie C in August 2022 on a year-long loan. This experience proved short-lived, as in June 2023 he returned to Atalanta. Despite the stint at Pescara, his circumstances did not drastically alter, as in the 2024 - 2025 season, he again found himself overlooked for first team league appearances.
Still seeking to carve out a place for himself, Kraja further took to the loan circuit. He transferred from Atalanta to Ascoli in Serie C in July 2023. The 2023 - 2024 season was mildly successful, seeing Kraja take to the pitch for a total of five first team league matches. Nevertheless, in June 2024 he found himself back at square one again, returning to Atalanta. The 2024 - 2025 season is proving equally challenging, with still no first team appearances to his name.
