Facundo Buonanotte, born on the 23rd of December in 2004, hails from Argentina. Now at the age of 19, Buonanotte is fittingly occupying the role of a central attacking midfielder for Premier League side, Leicester City. Standing at 5ft 8in (1.74m) tall and tipping the scales at 10st 12lb (69kg), the young Argentine adds a physical presence to his technical capability. Buonanotte carries the number 40 across his back during matches.
Throwing back to January 2014, our man Buonanotte began his career in his homeland's Primera División, joining Rosario Central as a trainee. In his maiden season (2022), he broke into the first team, making 24 appearances and finding the net four times in league play - a solid start for such a young player.
In keeping with the January tradition, Buonanotte made a mammoth leap in his career in 2023, transferring from Rosario Central to Brighton & Hove Albion of the English Premier League. This move came with a respectable price tag of around £10m. During his debut season (2022-2023) in England, he featured 13 times for his new team and scored one goal. Buonanotte then went on to make 27 appearances for Brighton in the following season (2023-2024), scoring thrice.
In August of 2024, Buonanotte made the move to yet another Premier League team, Leicester City, albeit on a loan deal. In the current season (2024-2025), Buonanotte has graced the pitch six times as a player for Leicester, adding two more goals to his tally. He also got the nod to start in the League Cup for Leicester City in the 2024-2025 edition.
