Standing at 5ft 8in (1.75m) and weighing in at 12st 1lb (77kg), Spanish footballer Ferran Jutgla, who celebrated his 25th birthday on the 1st of February, calls Belgium's Club Brugge his footballing home. Known primarily for his striker position, he can often be found bearing the number 9 on his back.
With a current market value rounding up to about £5m, as stated by Transfermarkt, Jutgla has 1 year and 8 months remaining on his Club Brugge contract, set to expire come the sun-drenched days of June 2026.
Jutgla's journey in professional football took off in July 2018, when he signed with Sant Andreu, competing in Spain's Second Division B/3. Barely a year later, he was off to Espanyol in the historic LaLiga. His time there, too, was short-lived and in July 2021, he packed his bags for the colossal FC Barcelona.
His debut season (2021-2022) at Barcelona saw him tally up six first team appearances and net one goal in league matches. Yet again, barely a year had passed when Jutgla was caught in the transfer web, but this time, relocating to Belgium's Pro League, and donning Club Brugge's colours for a fee close to £4.5m.
At Club Brugge, Jutgla's performance in the 2022-2023 season could be earmarked as a stand out, with 31 appearances and 13 goals to his credit, while the following season he added seven more goals from his 26 appearances. As for the 2024-2025 season, Jutgla has been seen gracing the pitch thirteen times.
In addition, Jutgla added to Club Brugge's offensive firepower in various competitions. He saw action in the Pro League Play-Offs and the Conference League in 2023-2024, scoring a goal in four starts and achieving two goals in six starting games respectively. In the 2024-2025 Super Cup, he earned one start, while in the same season's Champions League, he made four starts and a single appearance as a substitute.
