Flavius Daniliuc, a strapping lad of 6ft 1in and weighing 11st 13lb, was born in Austria on 27th of April, 2001. He's found his place on the pitch, primarily as a central defender, with Italy's Salernitana where his efforts are signified by the number 5 jersey.
Known as an international journeyman, Daniliuc's footballing career started at Bayern München II in Germany, as a keen trainee in the Oberliga. He made his four first team appearances in 2019-2020.
A move to Nice in the Ligue 1 of France was the next adventure in July 2020 for our stout defender. He added a goal to his tally during the 2020 - 2021 season at Nice, appearing 23 times. The following season found him in French colours, making 24 first team appearances.
With a knack for change, Daniliuc then transferred to Salernitana in the Serie B in Italy for a respectable £4.5m in August 2022. His first season with the Italians saw him make a commendable 27 first team appearances, with 14 more in the following 2023 - 2024 season.
Red Bull Salzburg in Austria availed of Daniliuc's defensive skills on loan from Salernitana in January 2024. After his loan, he rejoined Salernitana in Italy.
Not just a domestic player, Daniliuc also represented Austria's national team, flying the flag high with regards to his birth country.
During the 2023 - 2024 season, he played 14 matches. He was also seen in action in the Euro Qualifiers with one start. To his credit, Daniliuc is a versatile, seasoned defender with clubs and countries alike.
