Fraser Murray, a Scottish-born footballer born on 7 May 1999, plies his trade as a forward, predominantly operating as a left winger for Kilmarnock. A player of fair height and sturdy build, Murray stands at 6ft (approximately 1.83m) tall and weighs in at 11 stone (roughly 70kg). The number 15 jersey is his choice of adornment when gracing the pitch.
Murray's professional journey began at Hibernian, where he joined the Premiership team as a trainee in July 2015. During his inaugural 2016 - 2017 season at Hibernian, the young talent featured twice in first team league matches. The pattern replayed in the following 2017 - 2018 season. However, experience and growth punctuated Murray's time at Hibernian, leading to six first team appearances in league matches for the 2018 - 2019 season, a figure that swelled slightly to seven in the 2019 - 2020 season.
In September 2020, Murray took up the reins of a new venture, transferring on loan to Dunfermline Athletic, a Championship team in Scotland. After his loan spell, he shored up another transfer in July 2021, this time signing with Kilmarnock, another Scottish Premiership team.
His stint at Kilmarnock has seen relative consistency in his participation. In the 2022 - 2023 season, Murray slipped into his boots for 19 first team appearances in league matches. He did so for 15 league matches the following 2023 - 2024 season, and the current 2024 - 2025 season has already seen him grace the pitch seven times.
Away from the staple diet of league matches, Murray has also engaged in diverse football fare such as the League Cup 2024 - 2025 where he started once for Kilmarnock, and the 2023 - 2024 Scottish Cup where he made both a start and a substitute appearance for the same team. Additionally, his contributions have extended to European waters, with two substitute appearances each in the Europa League Qualifiers 2024 - 2025 and Conference League Qualifiers 2024 - 2025, both for Kilmarnock.
