Greg Kiltie, born in Scotland on 18 January 1997 (now 27 years of age), is a robust midfielder who currently finds his football home at St Mirren. Standing at 5 feet 8 inches (1.73 metres) and tipping the scales at 11 stones (70kg), the talented Scot is primarily employed as a central attacking midfielder. Carrying the number 11 honour on the back of his jersey, Kiltie brings industry and drive to the midfield of his team.
The Scotsman started his professional football journey in the comforting bosom of Kilmarnock in Scotland's Premiership. Joining as a trainee in July 2012, Kiltie's early career at Kilmarnock saw him gradually collect a modest number of first team appearances and goals. Over nine seasons, he racked up a total of 101 appearances and 15 goals, with his most productive spell coming during the 2015-2016 season when he registered six goals from 35 appearances.
In the midst of his stint at Kilmarnock, Kiltie played to the proverbial gallery with two short-term loans at Queen of the South (October 2014) and Greenock Morton (January 2019). Both stints served as platforms for the youngster to gain valuable game time, before returning to continue his journey with Kilmarnock.
September 2019 saw another loan spell, this time at Dunfermline Athletic, come to pass. This short stint at Dunfermline Athletic in the Scottish Championship further refined his abilities and prepared him for his ensuing seasons at Kilmarnock.
Eventually, the summer of 2021 witnessed a significant transition in Kiltie's career. Leaving the cocoon of Kilmarnock, he moved to greener pastures with St Mirren in Scotland's Premiership. So far, Kiltie has proved to be a valuable asset with an accumulating tally of 96 appearances and eight goals over his four seasons with the club.
Aside from his league duties, Kiltie has had the privilege of making his mark in the esteemed Scottish Cup. During the 2023-2024 season, for instance, he made a valuable contribution, starting twice for St Mirren in the venerated competition.
