Hannibal Mejbri, born on the 21st of January 2003, is a French footballer whose role on the pitch is situated in the realm of central midfield. Standing at a respectable 5ft 11in and weighing in at 11st, Mejbri currently plies his trade with Manchester United, donning the number 46 jersey.
His association with United began in the 2020-21 season, although his initial entrance onto the scene could be described as lacklustre, with only one first-team appearance to his name. This would not deter young Mejbri, as he continued with the club into the 2021-22 season, which saw him rewarded with two outings for the senior squad.
The following 2022-23 season saw a marked change in pace. Mejbri signed with Birmingham City, where he took to the field for an impressive 38 matches, the endeavour rewarded with his first career goal.
Returning to Manchester United for the 2023-24 season, Mejbri's limited first-team appearances were marked by another goal. His run in the Premier League consisted of one start and four substitute appearances, with a taste of the Champions League to boot, with one starting appearance and another as a substitute. The FA Cup was also a stage upon which Mejbri performed, albeit this time entirely in a substitute's capacity.
In what one can imagine would be a sunny detour, Mejbri moved to Spain to play for Sevilla for the remainder of the 2023-24 season. Here, he racked up another six first-team appearances, though the net remained untouched during his stint.
