In April 2010, Guidetti was loaned by Manchester City to IF Brommapojkarna in the Allsvenskan of Sweden. Across his debut season at the club, he made eight first-team outings, registering three goals in the process.
Following his stint in Sweden, he was loaned to Burnley in England, where he made five appearances and bagged a solitary goal during the 2010-2011 season. January 2014 saw Guidetti transferring on loan from Manchester City to Stoke City. He made six league appearances for the Potters in the 2013-2014 season.
Guidetti's next loan spell was at Scottish giants, Celtic. For the 2014-2015 season, he played 24 times for the Bhoys, scoring eight goals in his temporary stint. His spell at Celtic was solid if not quite spectacular. Nevertheless, he showed hints of something more, bringing a decent haul of goals to the party and playing his part in several big fixtures.
Post-Celtic, Guidetti found himself plying his trade in the Spanish La Liga. In July 2015, he transferred from Manchester City to Celta Vigo. Across three seasons at the club, he made 66 league appearances and etched his name on the scoresheet eleven times.

Yet another loan saw Guidetti move to Hannover 96 in the 2. Bundesliga in Germany. During the 2019-2020 season, he featured 14 times and scored three goals.
In July 2020, he returned to Alaves before eventually moving to AIK in the Allsvenskan in Sweden, back in July 2022. Currently playing his third season at AIK, Guidetti has made 41 first-team appearances and scored seven goals.
These numerous transfers highlight the journeyman nature of Guidetti's career. His career has been characterised by multiple moves across various leagues, demonstrating his adaptability and resilience.
