Mason Melia, born on the first of October in the year 2007, is a decidedly young footballer hailing from the Republic of Ireland. At the tender age of 17 years, this promising forward finds his home at St. Patrick's Athletic, testing his abilities as the club's primary striker. Slightly taller than average, Melia stands at a respectable height of 5ft 10in (1.8m). This framed lad tips the scales at a solid 12st 8lb (80kg). He seems to be a well conditioned performer, ready to compete at high levels with fierce determination.
His debut season (2023) with St. Patrick's Athletic in the Republic of Ireland was one of measured progress. Young Melia made ten boots in the starting XI, managing to net the ball twice , a modest tally for a striker cutting his teeth in the world of professional football. His second season (2024) marked a significant step up in Melia's performance. The reliable lad appeared no fewer than 31 times for the first team and raised his scoring tally to six goals, demonstrating considerable growth and potential.
Not just a regular season player, Melia familiarised himself with the intensity of tournament football during the Conference League Qualifiers for the 2024-2025 season. Representing St. Patrick’s Athletic, he was in the starting line-up on five occasions and even made a star turn off the bench. In addition to this, he had the honour of making a contribution during the President’s Cup in 2024, where he once again found himself coming on as a substitute for St. Patrick's Athletic.
