Max Kucheriavyi, born on 9 May 2002 in Ukraine, serves as a forward, predominantly wielding his skills as a right winger for St Johnstone. With a weight of 65 kilograms (10 stone and 3 pounds), and a height of 1.69 meters (5 feet and 6 inches), Kucheriavyi sports the jersey number 17.
Come January 2021, Kucheriavyi began his Scottish Premiership journey with St Johnstone. His debut season of 2022-2023 began his tally of appearances, boasting a total of four games in league matches for St Johnstone. However, it was in the following 2023-2024 season where one caught sight of his first goals, two in fact, accumulated across 28 match appearances. As of the current 2024-2025 season, Kucheriavyi has already graced the field an impressive four times in league match scenarios.
Now it's important not to ignore the carefully orchestrated chess game of Kucheriavyi's loan manoeuvres. July 2021 marked his initial move, transferring from St Johnstone to the Highland League's Brechin City for a stint. Not to rest on his laurels, by February 2022 Kucheriavyi had shifted base to Kelty Hearts in Scottish League One, again on a temporary basis.
As the month of June 2022 rolled around, Kucheriavyi had seen the culmination of his loan tenure with Kelty Hearts and thus returned to St Johnstone. Throughout this period, his performance in the 2022-2023 season included once again four first team appearances in league matches, two goals in the following season, and an additional four game appearances within the current season.
Not one for staying put, Kucheriavyi journeyed forth on loan yet again, this time to Falkirk in the Scottish Championship in February 2023. His stint with Falkirk was marked by four first team appearances, including one goal scored in the 2022-2023 season.
Post his successful tenure at Falkirk, Kucheriavyi returned to his base at St Johnstone in June 2023. Since his triumphant return, he has made a total of four first team appearances in the current season alongside competing in the League Cup 2024-2025 for St Johnstone, marked by two appearances as a substitute.
