Mohamad Sylla, born on the 1st of December 1993 in France, plies his trade as a central defensive midfielder for the Scottish side Dundee. Standing at a robust 6 feet 2 inches (1.89m) and weighing in at 12 stone 10 pounds (81kg), Sylla certainly imposes his presence on the pitch. Followers of Dundee will immediately recognise him in the club's number 28 jersey.
In terms of the economic aspect of the beautiful game, Sylla's current market value rounds up to about £106k, as stated by Transfermarkt. His contract with Dundee is due to end on the 31st of May 2025, leaving him with eight months to decide his future playing scene.
Sylla broke on to the English football scene in the season of 2022 - 2023 with Hartlepool United, where he made 28 first team appearances and managed to get his name on the goal sheet once. After his emigration north, on the season of 2023 - 2024, Sylla played on 24 occasions for Dundee. In the current season, 2024 - 2025, Sylla has already pulled on the Dundee jersey nine times.
Sylla's game time is not restricted to domestic league matches, however. In the season of 2024 - 2025, he played six games in the League Cup for Dundee. Further back, in the 2023 - 2024 season, he also made an appearance in the Scottish Cup for Dundee.
Unfortunately, Sylla's time at Celtic haven't been documented in these notes. If he ever happened to feature for the Parkhead side, rest assured, there would be a wealth of tales to tell about his time in the green and white hoops.
