Mohammed Fuseini, born 16 May 2002 in Ghana, is a 22-year-old prodigious football player. Primarily operating as a forward for Union Saint-Gilloise, at a diminutive height of 5ft 6in (1.69m) and a weight of 9st 6lb (60kg), he's built his reputation as a sprightly striker. Fuseini graces the pitch in a number 77 jersey.
According to Transfermarkt, his current market valuation hovers around the £2.5m mark. His tenure with Union Saint-Gilloise is set to extend until 30 June 2027, with just under three years remaining.
In the winter 2022 transfer window, Fuseini embarked on a new chapter in his career as he left the Ghana First Division's Right to Dream Academy, moving to Austria's Bundesliga to ply his trade with Sturm Graz. The chapter, though, was kept shrouded in mystery, with the fee negotiated between the clubs concealed from the public.
While at Sturm Graz for season 2022 - 2023, Fuseini popped up on the teamsheet seven times and found success in front of the goal, netting twice. The following season saw an increased appearance tally of 11, although his goals took a slight dip with just one to his name.
Not too dissimilar to the turning of a page, the January 2024 transfer window saw Fuseini temporarily leave Sturm Graz. This time his journey would take him to Randers in Denmark's Superliga. It was another fruitful spell, with Fuseini taking full advantage of 15 opportunities to play, resulting in a rather impressive tally of nine goals.
July 2024 brought about the end of the sojourn, edging Fuseini to Union Saint-Gilloise of the Belgian Pro League for a price of approximately £1.7m. This campaign has seen him turn out 15 times in the league, with four goals currently ornamenting his tally.
Beyond league obligations, Fuseini's union with Saint-Gilloise involved a brief spell for the club in the 2024 - 2025 Champions League Qualifiers, where he made a solitary substitute appearance. Additionally, the club's run in the Europa League 2024 - 2025 saw him start in four games, with a gift of one goal for his efforts.
