Robbie Deas, born on the 27th of February, 2000, is a robust pillar of defence hailing from Scotland. Currently, he holds the fort for Kilmarnock, predominantly featuring as a centre-back, demonstrating his defensive prowess within the Scottish Premiership. Standing 6ft 2in tall (1.88m) and weighing in at 12st 1lb (77kg), his presence on the pitch is certainly felt. Traditionally, Deas sports the number 6 jersey, emphasising his defensive duties.
As a budding young footballer, Deas began his professional journey with Celtic in Scotland's Premiership. He would have the honour of donning the green and white stripes for a couple of seasons before seeking experience through loan spells at other clubs. Demonstrably, in August 2018, Deas took on a fresh challenge, moving from Celtic to Lowland League side Cowdenbeath on a temporary basis.
With one loan spell under his belt, Deas returned to Celtic before being loaned out again in August 2019. This time, he gained valuable playing time with Alloa Athletic in Scotland's League One.
After sufficiently proving his worth, Deas made a definitive departure from Celtic in August 2020, setting his sights on a fresh start with Inverness CT in the Scottish League One. During his debut season (2022-2023) with Inverness, Deas had an impressive start, making 22 appearances, and event netting one goal in league matches - an admirable feat for a defender.
In July 2023, Deas again changed his footballing landscape, transferring from Inverness CT to Kilmarnock, which brought him back into the Premiership scene. His initial season (2023-2024) with Kilmarnock saw Deas become a consistent feature in the first team, clocking up 30 appearances and notching one goal. The current season (2024-2025) has been no different, with Deas boasting ten appearances thus far.
On top of his league performances, Deas has also proven his worth in a variety of competitions. He's turned out for Kilmarnock in the 2024-2025 League Cup and the 2023-2024 Scottish Cup. Moreover, his abilities have been called upon during the 2024-2025 Europa and Conference League Qualifiers, with Deas making a combined total of four appearances across both tournaments.
