Born on the 7th of October 1993, Rory McKenzie, aged 31, hails from Scotland and is a talented central midfielder currently plying his trade for Premiership side Kilmarnock. Putting his physical stats into perspective, McKenzie stands at 5ft 8in (1.75m) and weighs in at 11st 11lb (75kg). He can be easily recognised on the pitch wearing his favoured number 7 jersey.
In an exciting affair that kicked off McKenzie's professional career, he joined Kilmarnock in the January of 2011. His inaugural season (2010/2011) saw him grace the field in the Premiership just once. However, he gradually carved out a more prominent role at Rugby Park in the following years. McKenzie's 2012/2013 season featured 22 first-team appearances and a commendable two goals. From the 2013/2014 season through to the 2024/2025 season at Kilmarnock, he made consistent appearances ranging from 24 to a high of 36 in the 2022/2023 season. His most goal-laden season was 2011/2012, where he scored four goals in both the 2013/2014 and 2016/2017 seasons.
January 2012 marked a brief shift in his career trajectory as he was loaned out to Brechin City in the Highland League. McKenzie appeared 17 times and impressively found the back of the net on seven occasions during the 2011/2012 season. Post this successful stint at Brechin City, he was welcomed back to Kilmarnock, whereby he went on to replicate and build upon his initial form.
Adding to his CV's lustre, he was featured in the League Cup 2024/2025, the Europa League Qualifiers 2024/2025, and the Conference League Qualifiers 2024/2025, making starts and substitute appearances for Kilmarnock, further demonstrating his versatility and adaptability to various competitions. Currently, in the 2024/2025 season, he has already made 13 appearances in the league, with plenty of football yet to be played.
