Ross Graham, a Scottish lad, was birthed into this world on the 20th day of February in the year 2001. He took to football like a duck to water, and today, stands (quite tall, I might add) as a central defender for Dundee United. Towering at 6ft 4in (1.94m), Ross weighs in at a trim 12st 12lbs (82kg). You'll find him strutting about the pitch in the number 6 jersey, which I suppose may provide some sense of gravitas for the poor chap.
Being a central defender doesn't bring in the glamour and riches of a star striker, but guess what? Our young man's market value still hovers around a respectable €500k, or £425K (credits to the boffins at Transfermarkt for that nugget). And it seems Dundee United see some value in him too, having him under contract until the end of May 2026.
Ross, or 'trainee', as he was known when he first joined Dundee United in July 2017, has had quite the journey, including his debut season (2021 - 2022) where he graced the pitch 15 times and even managed to knock in two goals. In the 2022 - 2023 season, he repeated his 15 appearances, this time forgoing the goals. In the seasons that followed (2023 - 2024 and 2024 - 2025), his presence on the pitch increased slightly, making 18, and then 15 appearances respectively. He even scored a total of 4 goals during these two seasons, which, considering his position, isn't half bad.
Now, let's talk excursions. Our dear Ross didn't limit himself to Dundee United. He set out on loan to Elgin City in January 2020, before returning home in June 2020 after a presumably enlightening experience. Yet, the travel bug bit again in October 2020, sending him off to Cove Rangers, only to see him return in January 2021. Not one to be put off by change, Ross was shipped off to Cove Rangers AGAIN in March 2021, seemingly undeterred by the merry-go-round of lending and borrowing. Come June 2021, back he came to Dundee United. But wait, there's more! In July 2021, off to Dunfermline Athletic he went, wrapping up his game of musical chairs when he returned to Dundee United once again in January 2022.
Aside from being a champion at musical loan transfers, Ross also managed to put his boot to some good use during the League Cup 2024 - 2025 for Dundee United, scoring one goal in six starts. He also made one start in the Scottish Cup 2024 - 2025. I'd say the lad has had quite the eventful career, wouldn't you agree?
