A new signing at the start of the 2015/16 season, Saidy Janko joined from Manchester United who he signed for two years earlier and he spent the latter part of last season on loan at Bolton Wanderers.
The Swiss teenager scored on his debut for the Trotters when he put his side 2-1 ahead with 10 minutes to go in a game against Fulham which they eventually won 3-1, he had earlier set up the equaliser for Eidur Gudjohnsen. That was the first of 10 Championship appearances for the Macron Stadium side under former Celt, Neil Lennon. A natural right-back who can also play further up the same flank, he started his career with hometown club FC Zurich as a youngster before joining the youth set-up at Old Trafford.
Janko made his debut in pre-season friendly against Real Sociedad.
