He has developed a robust physical presence reminiscent of the old school centre forwards with his impressive 6ft 3in (1.91m) frame and hefty weight of 14st 2lb (90kg). Donning the number 35 jersey, his on-pitch presence is further accentuated.

It was in the 2015 - 2016 season that Ganvoula made his shining debut at Elazigspor in Turkey, where, in his 16 maiden first team appearances, he managed to net five goals. A successful tenure at Westerlo in Belgium followed in 2016 - 2017, with him making 26 first team appearances and scoring nine goals.
His stint as a striker in Anderlecht, during the 2017 - 2018 season, was marked by his nine first team appearances and three goals. This was followed by his switch to Germany's Bochum in the 2018 - 2019 season, where he scored five goals in his 21 premier league appearances - a stint that continued for three more seasons.
After a brief five first-team appearance spell at Cercle Brugge in Belgium during the 2021 - 2022 season, he returned to Bochum for another 16 first team appearances in the following 2022 - 2023 season.
