September 19 An amazing game took place at Falkirk’s old Brockville ground on this day in 1992 when a crowd of 9,500 took in what looked like being a very ordinary league encounter. The first-half finished 1-1 thanks to Dariusz Wdowczyk equalising from the spot after Falkirk had also scored a penalty and when Gerry Creaney struck a minute after the break to make it 2-1, the game looked to be edging towards Celtic.
