On 25 May 1967, Celtic Football Club defeated Inter Milan 2-1 at the Estádio de Honra (Estádio Nacional) in Lisbon to become the first British football team to lift the European Cup. I visited the exact site at which Billy McNeill lifted football’s biggest prize.
