Why is it, one wonders, that Celtic appear glacially slow in getting transfers and the like done? Yes, there are agents only too keen to drag things out till they have had their snouts well into the trough and, yes, there will be legal niceties to wrap and, yes, the all-powerful paws of Mr Lawwell are embedded in everything it seems but – really, has any progress been made at all on appointing a new manager/DoF/HoFO?
