On this day four years ago, March 2, 2017, the Celtic family sadly said goodbye to club legend, Lisbon Lion and two-time European Cup final goalscorer, Tommy Gemmell. From his debut on January 5, 1963 – a 5-1 win over Aberdeen at Pittodrie, aged 19 – to his departure from Paradise in late 1971, Gemmell made 418 appearances in green and white, scoring 63 goals along the way.
